Cool shots there, like the way you have captured the aircraft trails!

Richard how are you, i've always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon what an amazing place. The sunset light on the Canyon walls is amazing, i bet the sky is pretty dark out here too-great shots.

I don't know how I missed this, I guess because I haven't been posting anything myself. Great story to go along with some beautiful photos. What a stunning bridge span you have there against the colorful sunset.

It's been awhile since I have posted. Recently returned from a long weekend road trip to Sedona and The Grand Canyon, Arizona. A very expansive and beautiful part of our country. Hope you enjoy!

Cathedral Rock and Oak Creek, Sedona, AZ

South Rim Grand Canyon at sunset

Mathert Point, Grand Canyon at sunset

Panorama at sunset

Mather Point, Grand Canyon at sunrise. 18 degrees with a stiff breeze blowing. Elevation on the South Rim is 7,200'

Hoover Dam near Las Vegas, Nevada, taken from the new dam bypass highway which is 280' higher than the dam and 880' above the Colorado River. It really makes your toes tingle!

Cheers Richard-they don't look tack sharp to me today-they were when  I posted them-bit odd. 400 miles, that's quite a way in our terms.

Here is another vantage point I found at March, I think a bit better than the overhead passes. The USAF Thunderbirds are going to be at the Air Show here in May, I think I've found my spot for photos.
