Quadrantid Meteor Watch Wipe-out
« on: January 04, 2012, 03:16:44 pm »
Quadrantid Meteor Watch Wipe-out, commenced the watch on Jan 3rd 9pm and finished at 3am Jan 4th. Weather conditions were cold and some serious wind gusts which kept the clouds on the move creating some reasonable patches of clear sky. During the cold observing session I managed to view 0 meteors that’s correct not one what a disappointment after reading many predictions of up to 60 + hour during the peak. I did put some of the images to good use though.

The second one's great Anton. Bit of a disappointment then but at least you got these two shots for your efforts-well done, way past my bedtime though  lol.
